S.U.S.U Democracy The Students' Union is the official student voice at Swansea University. The 12,000 students at Swansea University tell the Union what they want it to do. In order for the Union to understand the needs of its 12,000 students, we have Student General Meetings, Course Reps, the student Executive and the Sabbaticals. Swansea University Students' Union is a constituant member of the National Union of Students. This means we are active in the wider student movement, making your voice heard in the highest levels of government. Although many of the SU staff are non-students, the Union is overseen by students with decisions involving its direction being made by students. If you have any questions or queries, the general office on the second floor of union house offers a warm and friendly welcome and approach to all enquiries. This is the first point of contact for all services and sabbatical officers. Come to us with any problems regarding the use of your NUS card, or liaise with the finance office to help student societies. The lead officer for SUSU Democracy is the Union President, Luke Young. All Union committee minutes and Union election(s) information are available from the General Office email : administrator@swansea-union.co.uk.
