Welcome to the Sabbatical Officers section of the Students' Union website. This section will be regularly updated with news and events.

Swansea Student's Union has 6 full time, paid, Sabbatical Officers. These are all former students elected in a cross-campus vote to run the union.

The President is responsible for the overall management of the Students Union and is the lead officer for democracy, representation, the community, communications, Student Experience and NUS.

The Societies & Services Officer is responsible for the co-ordination and support of our societies and looks after our commercial ventures.

The Education Officer is responsible for campaigning on everything from the library to exam feedback. If it's an issue with your course, the Education Officer can help.

The Women's Officer is responsible for supporting underrepresented groups on campus and takes the lead in tackling the gender inequalities that affect female students.

The International Students Officer is responsible for supporting students from overseas to integrate into life at Swansea. They also take the lead on campaigning for fair treatment of all international students.

The Welfare Officer is responsible for co-ordinating campaigns on everything from mental heath and safer sex to housing issues. They also make sure that your general welfare is at the forefront of everything that the SU does.

Cross portfolio campaigns:

Singleton Park campaign group is co-convened by Raegan Healy (Women's Officer), Luke Young (President) & Lance Horsey (Welfare Officer).

Student Employability and Careers group is co-convened by Luke Young (President) and Raegan Healy (Women's Officer).
