Fitness to practice
Some courses of study within the university require the student not only to comply with University regulations but also with that of an outside professional body. These include, the Care Council for Wales, the Law Society and NHS.
If your conduct or personal circumstances are called into question, this can result in you falling foul of the regulations of the regulating body and your fitness to practice being called into question. For Swansea University Regulations go to:

This can result in having to appear before a Committee of Enquiry and can have serious consequences for the student involved.
Any allegation of this kind should be treated seriously and the student involved should come to the Advice Centre where we can help with preparation of the case and representation at the Committee of Enquiry.
