Flagship café-bar name needed – win a £100 Dining Card
This is your chance to make a mark on the history of Swansea University.
With just over six months to go until the opening of the Bay Campus, our new flagship café-bar is in need of a name.
Submit your suggestions by Friday 6th March and if your suggestion is accepted then you will be rewarded with a £100 Dining Card that can be used in any Campus Catering outlets.
However - this prize pales into insignificance alongside the chance to be the person that gave the bar its name. Generations of students will marvel at your genius.

The café-bar will be the most exciting feature of the retail street at the Bay Campus. Contemporary coffee shop and general chill out area by day, relaxed and funky bar by night, it needs a name that will reflect its status as the place to be.
The café-bar will be styled with beach and watersports influences, with a retro touch and echoes of a bygone era. Customised furniture and decorations will ensure that it is an oasis of calm amid a busy and modern campus.
It’s one of several outlets at the Bay Campus, which will include a main food court with multiple pods serving a mix of traditional foods, street food and internationally influenced cuisine. There will also be catering outlets in the College of Engineering, School of Management, Library and Great Hall. Keep an eye out too for new menus and developments on the Singleton Park Campus.
