We run a club that is suitable for all, whether you’re a complete beginner or an advanced level, doing forward loops!
We run regular weekly trips for beginners and intermediates to our local sailing location, tata steel sailing club. Where windsurf tuition is provided along with full kit available, and safety cover throughout the session. One of the best and safest places to learn! More advanced weekend trips will be regularly available to wave spots along the Gower and South Wales.
This year we are bringing in a kitesurfing section to the club, which will see our name transition to Swansea Windriders, come Christmas!!
Initially with our kitesurfing sessions, they will be weekend based, on locations such Swansea bay, going straight off bay campus. These will be introduction sessions with qualified instructors, using training kites. For those who are already experienced kitesurfers, weekend trips and regular sessions on bay campus will be running, weather dependent. If you have your own kiting kit, we thoroughly recommend bringing it down and joining the regulars going off bay!
As well as being full-power on the water, were also full-power on the town! We have socials weekly, as well as attending the unique SWA (student windsurfing association) events throughout the year which are located all over the country. They're wild weekend of fun not to be missed! We also run multiple joint socials with other clubs, which are great opportunties to meet others and share intrests.
