Swansea Rock Alt Metal Society has been running since early 2021. We have seen such amazing growth within our society filled with people from all walks of life who love all things metal (and alternative generally!). We invite you to be a part of our wonderful alt family, filled with students, associates and alumni who share a passion for music, live gigs, participating in making and playing music, and meeting new likeminded people.
We always have events taking place within the society that span from our regular weekly meet ups for student nights on Wednesdays at Crowley’s Bar, to events such as Emo Nights and Rock Vs Metal (plus many more!). We also do sober friendly socials such as bowling or board game cafés! Our society tends to frequent venues such as Sin City, Crowleys, The Bunkhouse, One Eyed Jacks, Hangar 18 and Hippos. There is always something going on!
Our membership is free for all. However if you wish to pay for a membership with a membership card, you will benefit from discounted drinks at socials and events the society attends. This is not mandatory, but an added bonus!
