TOURNAMENT REGULATIONS (to be retained)

1. Every entrant must be affiliated as a player member to Table Tennis Wales or be a member of another national association in membership of the ITTF.

1. Table Tennis Wales Tournament Regulations apply to this tournament including Regulation R (Regulations banning use of certain adhesives and restricting “gluing-up”). ITTF Regulations for International Competition apply exceptthose relating to matters covered by items marked (x) in this entry form.
2. Completion and submission of this entry form signifies agreement by the entrant to the conditions of the competition including the variations from the ITTF requirements.
3. All competitors will be required to umpire at least one match per event entered
4. All matches will be the best of 5 games. Play throughout will be on a knockout basis, except for the preliminaryrounds which will be in groups of four or three depending on entries. With the first two players qualifying to the mainevent and the remainder going into the plate event The final order in a group shall be determined as per ITTF regulation 3.7.5 for group competitions except that where a player concedes a match he/she shall receive -3 group points (x).
5. Competitors in the age restricted events, Veterans must be born in 1985 or before, Under 21’s must be born in 2004 or later, Junior events must have been born in

2006 or later, the Cadets born 2010 or later, under 13’s born 2012 or later, Under 11’s event 2014 or later.

1. Players must not wear shirts that are predominantly White.
2. Competitors will be permitted to practice on tables not in use at the discretion of the Referee.

1. No competitor or official shall engage in betting on players or matches.

1. Doping shall not take place either before or during play.
2. All competitors must report to the control table on arrival and must not leave the venue without first obtaining permission from the Referee.
3. Should there be insufficient entries in any event, the Referee reserves the right to cancel/merge such eventand/or place the entrants in a similar event including the mixing of genders
   1. The use of rackets prepared with glue containing VOCs will not be allowed.
4. The Referee’s decision shall be final on points of law on any question arising not provided for in these regulationsor in any dispute as to the interpretation thereof. Decisions on points of fact by an umpire or assistant umpire appointed by the Referee shall be final.
   1. No entry will be accepted unless the following undertaking is signed.
      1. To observe the regulations.
      2. To abide by the decision of the Referee and Organising Committee.
   2. To fulfil the schedule of play arranged for me unless prevented by circumstances beyond my control andaccepted as such by the Referee.

1. Every player must hold a valid Table Tennis Wales or have paid the appropriate Single Competition Licencefee with his/her entry form unless he/she provides proof of being a

member of another national association affiliated to the ITTF and is not affiliated to Table Tennis Wales.

1. The organising committee hold the right to change the schedule if required by number of entries

1. players may enter one morning event and one afternoon event (except if you are playing opendoubles. Players entering the Veterans cannot enter the Open doubles and vice

versa.
