Korfball is a sport that not many people have heard of, however it's played at pretty much all Universities and at Swansea we have one of the best up and coming teams with our first team currently in the top division of the Welsh Korfball League. We compete in BUCS as well, which is a brilliant sporting competition where we play other universities at tournaments throughout the year.
Now then what actually is Korfball, korfball is a Dutch sport that we have stolen where both men and women play on the same team :). It is a bit like netball and basketball but better, there are many youtube videos showcasing the pinnacle of Korfball so why not give it a watch and then try it our for yourself at our taster session on the 27th of September from 19:30 till 21:00 at singleton sports hall (swansea bay sports park sports hall). To find the sports hall enter through the swimming pool entrance and ask for directions at the front desk as they can then let you through the turnstiles. We cannot wait to see you there.
