Hi guys!!
This is one of the last trips for Physocs 24/25 (we're saving the best till last) and it's an amazing chance, never been done before trip to the Culham Centre of Fusion Energy (CCFE)! We'll be visiting the facility on Friday 2nd May where we'll be having an introduction talk as well as three tours around different facilities. Tickets are £4 and we're providing transport for you there and back. There is a cafeteria to buy lunch at, but feel free to bring snacks. We'll be creating a Whatsapp GC or emailing you guys for more information closer to the time.
The schedule is as follows:
9 am - Depart from in front of Fulton House.
9:30 am - Pick up from Bay Campus.
1 pm - Introduction Talk with Employability/Internship Opportunities
2 pm - JET Tour
3 pm - MRF Tour
3:30 pm - RACE Tour
4 pm - Depart
5:30 pm - Drop off at Bay Campus.
6 pm - Arrive back at Fulton House.
