Event Format:

Portsmouth, shot in ends of 3 arrows. 

Venue:

Swansea University Bay Campus, Fabian Way, Crymlyn Burrows, Skewen, Swansea, SA1 8EN.

Timings:

Session 1 assembly at 09:30, session 2 assembly at 12:45. Please arrive at minimum 30 minutes before these times to ensure you are ready to shoot at these times.

Link with a deadline of midnight Sunday 17th November. 

We can guarantee spaces for 8 archers per club. More spaces may become available and we will let you know if this is the case.

Note: This form is one submission per archer so if your club is selecting a team for this competition please do not submit this form until asked to by your club.

Target List & Results:

Will be published on ianseo.

Awards:

Medals will be awarded and SWWU league points will be awarded for the SWWU teams as detailed on our shiny new website.

Getting There:

On-site parking is available.

Buses 89, 90, 91, 92, X1, X5 and X7 all go between the bus station and campus, the people of Swansea recommend 89 or 91 from the train station to campus.

Venue Information:

The venue is wheelchair accessible. If you have any questions about accessibility, please get in touch with archery@swansea-sports.co.uk.

There are toilets on site and a small Tesco around the corner.

Special Requirements:

Please ensure the Tournament Organiser is aware of any special requirements you may have.

Archery GB:

All archers shooting must have valid Archery GB membership. SWWU and host clubs reserve the right to inspect Archery GB cards.

Notes:

This is not a record status competition.

 

Only novice archers to be shooting at this competition, according to the BUCS Archery GB regulations: ‘ARC 3 Eligibility for Novice Categories: Only individuals who have not held insurance with an Archery Governing Body prior to, and who have commenced shooting since 1st September of the current academic year shall be eligible for entry into Novice categories.’

 

We encourage clubs to send supporting experienced/committee members for this competition.
