It's easy to add a little bit of Welsh to your day!
Let's not overcomplicate it - even the basics can go a long way to supporting your Welsh language friends and colleagues. Which is good, because the basics are easy!
During November 25th and December 9th, we're working alongside the Welsh Language Commissioner to get people to use their Welsh. We'll also be promoting our Welsh-language services on campus, so make sure you keep a lygad allan for Carys, your Welsh Affairs Officer!
Here are some easy phrases to get you started:
Shwmae (shoo-my) - how's it going?
Diolch (dee-olch) - thank you!
Bore da (bore-eh dah) - good morning :)
Prynhawn da (prinn-how-n dah) - good afternoon :D
Hwyl (h-oil) - bye!
