The Law Society has won Society of the Month - but who are they, and what do they do?
We sat down with Mubashir Syed (President) and Rashmika Sama (Secretary) from the Law Society to learn more about them!
Who is the Law Society?
We're one of the largest societies on campus! The Law Soc aims to build a community for like-minded students, develop your legal skillset and plenty of networking.
What do you do?
Alongside our professional aims, we have committed to hosting socials approximately every two weeks, to build a strong community within our cohorts. Our socials for the year include bowling, pizza parties, and many other opportunities to meet the committee and classmates!
Why did you win?
Alongside our regular events, this month we ran our flagship event, the Lawyers Panel where we arranged for 4 partners from 4 award-winning firms to come in and speak with students.
