SAS Lettings

It's time to start thinking about where to live next year. There's loads to think about, but don't panic, we've got your backs. Here are some things to consider:

How:

Head to SAS Lettings! It's run by the Uni's Residential Services and us at the Students' Union so you won’t be charged any admin fees. We make sure that landlords come up to all the safety standards we require, so there's no dodgy business.

Who:

The first decision you need to make is who to share you want your new housemates to be. Finding the right people is as important as finding the right house. Loads of students move in with different people to who they shared a flat with the year before, and loads stay with the same people, so it's up to you! Remember, once you've signed a contract, it’s really difficult to get out of it so make sure you're happy with your choice!

Where:

  • Brynmill - One of the most popular areas to live in, situated right next to Singleton campus and the beach.

  • Uplands -  Close to Singleton campus and the seafront but slightly further inland.

  • Sandfields - Near the City Centre and just a short stroll to Swansea Bay.
  • Sketty - At the top of Singleton Park, and a short walk from Singleton campus.
  • St Thomas – Ideal for Bay Campus students, just opposite the marina area of Swansea.

When:

Don’t feel pressurised into signing a new contract too early. Generally, it’s a good idea to wait until January so you've got a good idea of who you want to live with and where you want to live.

  • St Thomas – Ardal ddelfrydol i fyfyrwyr sy'n astudio ar Gampws y Bae, agos at ardal y marina.
