The results are in! After four days of intense campaigning and voting, you, the students of Swansea University made your voices heard.
2,092 of you cast 15,624 votes to elect your new team of Full-Time and Part-Time Officers.
Without further ado, meet your 2022-23 SU Officer Team, we’ll start with the Full-Time Officers:
President
Esyllt Rosser was elected to be President with 1,022 votes.

Welfare Officer
Abigail Egwuatu was elected to be Welfare Officer with 547 votes.

Education Officer
Izaak Morris was elected to be Education Officer with 590 votes.

Sports Officer
Jonathan Davies was elected to be Sports Officer with 399 votes.

Societies and Services Officer
Gwern Dafis was elected to be Societies and Services Officer with 613 votes.

Welsh Affairs Officer
Tom Kemp was elected to be Welsh Affairs Officer with 547 votes.

They will be joined by a team of Part-Time Officers who will support them in their roles, and make the SU and University a better place.
Your new Part-Time Officers are:
Ciera Atkins was elected to be Environment Officer with 408 votes.
Jonathan Bennington was elected to be Ethics Officer with 429 votes.
Jacob Pritchard was elected to be General Secretary with 725 votes.
Bharat Suresh was elected to be International Students’ Officer with 611 votes.
Jaimee Prowse was elected to be LGBT+ Officer (Bay) with 655 votes.
Maksymillian Lesiak was elected to be LGBT+ Officer (Singleton) with 528 votes.
Bethany Qualter was elected to be Women’s Officer with 519 votes.
You will be able to follow all of their activities and progress on the SU Officers Instagram account, @susuofficers, when they begin their new roles in July!
We also ran referenda on our affiliation with various organisations:
Advice UK passed.
National Day Nurseries Association passed.
National Union of Students passed.
Student Radio Association passed.
National Student Television Association passed.
United Kingdom Council for International Student Affairs passed.
