Getting to Cardiff & Venue Access
How do I get to the venues?
Train travel to Cardiff is included in your ticket! If you’re heading to Llanrumney, buses will depart from Singleton.
Is there transport provided to Cardiff?
Yes! Official Varsity transport includes free train travel to Cardiff with your ticket.
What time does the coach/train leave Swansea?
Trains depart regularly from Swansea Train Station, with SU staff on-site to assist.
What time does the coach/train leave Cardiff?
Trains back to Swansea also run regularly. Look out for SU staff at Cardiff Train Station if you need help.
Is there parking available at the venues?
Parking is very limited, so we strongly recommend taking the train, which is included in your ticket.
Food, Drinks & Stadium Rules
Can I bring my own food and drink to the event?
No outside food or drink is permitted, but don’t worry - there will be plenty of vendors at the venues.
Where can I buy food and drinks during the event?
Food and drink stalls will be available throughout the venues, offering a variety of options.
Can I bring alcohol into the venue?
Nope! But alcohol is available for purchase inside the venues.
Can I leave and re-enter the stadium?
Re-entry policies depend on the venue. Check with event staff at the gate for details.
What items are prohibited at the venues?
Banned items include alcohol, glass bottles, large bags, and flares. If in doubt, ask event staff.
What Happens If …?
What happens if I feel unwell or need medical assistance?
First aid stations are available at all venues. Ask any event staff member for help if needed.
Who do I contact if I have an issue on the day?
Event staff, security, and welfare points will be available throughout the venues - just ask for assistance.
What do I do if I lose my belongings?
Each venue has a lost and found. Speak to event staff to check if your items have been handed in.
What happens if an event is cancelled or delayed?
Stay updated via our social media channels, where we’ll post any last-minute changes.
